3. 3. Formation of the Committee: (1) The Government of Nepal has formed a committee named Badi Community Upliftment Development Committee to carry out work related to the upliftment of the Badi community.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall consist of the following members:-
(a) Minister of Local Development or Minister of State – Chairman
(b) A person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the people of the Badi community who have made a special contribution in the field of development of the Badi community - Vice President
(c) Member, National Planning Commission (see related matters) – Member
(d) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Local Development – ​​Member
(e) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare - Member (f) Five members, including two women, nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the people of the Badi community who have made special contributions to the development of the Badi community. (G) Two members nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the heads of such associations to represent the associations involved in the development of the Badi community. (h) Executive Director – Member – Secretary
(3) The term of office of nominated members shall be four years at most.
